In 2016, I founded Maroon Strategist LLC, a business and financial consulting firm, and created the sub-division of Joseph Will Academy (JWA). I wanted to start JWA because I saw the lack of financial education in underserved communities–a gap I personally experienced. During college, a chance conversation introduced me to real estate and it transformed my future. Imagine how many potential life-changing opportunities are missed without the right knowledge. As a business owner, consultant, and finance professional, I want to bridge this divide and create a movement that empowers youth to shape their futures.

Joseph Will isn’t just a name; it’s an homage to my late father. The lessons he taught weren’t based on textbooks but on practicality, maximizing every dollar, and seizing opportunities. From tailoring and upcycling clothing to refurbishing electronics, he was skilled in creating value where none existed. His lessons in resourcefulness, combined with my financial background, guide our approach at JWA—a blend of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and the right mindset.
